If You Could Create a Seed

If you could,

By some miracle,

Create a seed

Would you,

Like man,

Dig a hole

And plant it

In the particular place

That you have determined

There will be

Appropriate sun, moisture, and nutrients

Which you will be able to manage

As it sprouts, grows and finally

Achieves, exceeds, or doesn’t meet

Your expectations, hopes, and dreams

Or would you,

Like God,

Blow it from

Your hand

And let it ride the wind

Until it lands where it lands

And becomes

What it becomes?
